چکیده

Utilizing rail transit system for collaborative passenger-and-freight transport is a sustainable option to conquer urban congestion. This study proposes effective modeling and optimization techniques planning city-wide metro-based underground logistics (M-ULS) network. Firstly, novel metro prototype integrating retrofitted stations newly-built capsule pipelines designed support automated inbound delivery from gateways in-city destinations. Based on four indicators (i.e. unity of freight flows, regional accessibility, environmental cost-saving, order priority), an entropy-based fuzzy TOPSIS evaluation model proposed select appropriate origin-destination flows transport. Then, mixed integer programming model, with well-matched solution framework combining multi-objective PSO algorithm A* algorithm, are developed optimize the location-allocation-routing (LAR) decisions M-ULS Finally, real-world simulation based Nanjing case conducted validation. The best facility configurations flow assignments three-tier network reported in details. Results confirm that has good ability providing high-quality Pareto-optimal LAR decisions. Moreover, project shows strong economic feasibility while bringing millions Yuan annual external benefit society environment.

Hybrid Multi-Objective Network Planning Optimization Algorithm
In this paper, a novel hybrid algorithm for the optimization of indoor wireless network planning is applied to a polyvalent arts centre. The results of the algorithm are compared with those of a heuristic network planner for three scenarios. Results show that our algorithm is effective for optimization of wireless networks, satisfying maximum coverage, minimal power consumption, minimal cost, a...
متن کاملA MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMIZATION MODEL FOR PROJECT PORTFOLIO SELECTION CONSIDERING AGGREGATE COMPLEXITY: A CASE STUDY
Existing project selection models do not consider the complexity of projects as a selection criterion, while their complexity may prolong the project duration and even result in its failure. In addition, existing models cannot formulate the aggregate complexity of the selected projects. The aggregated complexity is not always equal to summation of complexity of projects because of possible syne...

متن کاملAnt Colony Optimization for Multi-objective Digital Convergent Product Network
Convergent product is an assembly shape concept integrating functions and sub-functions to form a final product. To conceptualize the convergent product problem, a web-based network is considered in which a collection of base functions and sub-functions configure the nodes and each arc in the network is considered to be a link between two nodes. The aim is to find an optimal tree of functionali...
متن کاملBuilding a Multi-Objective Model for Multi-Product Multi-Period Production Planning with Controllable Processing Times: A Real Case Problem
Model building is a fragile and complex process especially in the context of real cases. Each real case problem has its own characteristics with new concepts and conditions. A correct model should have some essential characteristics such as: being compatible with real conditions, being of sufficient accuracy, being logically traceable and etc. This paper discusses how to build an efficient mode...
